Since the internet has no jurisdictional barriers, it is very hard to define the jurisdictional boundaries or territories for the Cyberspace activities. However, to resolve the disputes, there have been various attempts by the different courts
around the world to define the jurisdictional parameter(s) of the Cyberspace.
The key element, which is seen by the courts while determining the jurisdictional issues, is the availability or the accessibility of the web resource in the jurisdiction, where the dispute has arisen or there has been an effect of any illegal activity being felt
The law making & enforcement agencies around the world are trying to build a community and sign a treaty to harmonize the internet laws around the Globe. Since every country have their own laws, the same is causing great difficulty in passing through the barriers of the local laws of each state. It would be interesting to see the legal developments and judicial pronouncements on the jurisdictional issues of the Cyberspace in near future.
