Twitter is planning to open up an office in UK. Would this mean legal trouble for Twitter ?
Till now twitter’s operations have been from California but as it plans to expand it could expose itself to local legal sanctions.
Jurisdiction on the Internet is a tricky issue. Though Twitter operates from US, the site is popular and accessible worldwide.
If anybody, anywhere in the world, posts objectionable tweet or remarks should Twitter be held accountable for it according to the local rules or only US law is applicable?
