1. IBM slashes hundreds of Australian jobs

2. Swedish industrial heavyweights Volvo trucks and Electrolux announced a total of 4,000 job cuts around the world
3. Job cuts at Chiko roll factory.
More than 100 jobs will be lost at the NSW factory where the greasy treat is made.
4. Golden Circle will axe 123 positions from its Victorian juice plant and move the jobs to Queensland.
