The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) is Australia’s single independent accrediting authority for nursing and midwifery under the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme (the National Scheme).
ANMAC is the assessing authority for the Australian Government’s Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC).
They assess the qualifications of nurses and midwives who want to migrate to Australia under the General Skilled Migration category.
They determine if the qualifications are suitable for permanent migration or whether you need to undertake more education to become eligible.
