Start-ups in Australia created over one million jobs in five years.
According to a report by the Office of the Chief Economist led by Mark Cully in the Department of Industry and Science in association with Australian Bureau of Statistics, start-ups generated the largest share of total job creation (40 per cent) in the Australian economy.
