Immigration SA has expanded the South Australian Graduate List requirements to include Vocational, Education and Training (VET) graduates from South Australia. These changes have been made in consultation with the South Australian branch of the MIA.
VET graduates of South Australia will need to be:
- Currently working for 12 months or more in their nominated or closely related occupation in South Australia (minimum 20 hours per week; OR
- Currently working for 6 months or more in their nominated or closely related occupation in a country region of South Australia (minimum 20 hours per week). The country region must be outside of Greater Adelaide.
To be considered to be working in a country region of South Australia, they must be employed and residing in an area outside of Greater Adelaide.
All areas in the map apart from Adelaide and Adelaide Hills are accepted.
Postcodes partly out of the greater Adelaide definition are accepted.
