Study Medicine in Queensland
The University of Queensland will introduce a new Doctor of Medicine (MD) program in 2015, enhancing global opportunities for its postgraduate medical students.
The four-year postgraduate-entry MD degree will replace the current four-year Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program.
It will provide a more easily recognisable qualification for UQ medical graduates and an MD degree will facilitate greater international employment opportunities for them.
The MD program requires a minimum of a three-year bachelor degree for entry, with provisional and graduate entry to be offered to domestic and international students.
