UTas New Course
The University of Tasmania has launched two new degrees, giving students who study at the Newnham campus important new career directions in growing industries. The Dean of Science, Engineering and Technology, Professor Margaret Britz, said that from 2014 students will be able to study for two new three-year degrees: the Bachelor of Applied Science (Food Science and Innovation) and the Bachelor of Applied Science (Environmental Science).
