The University of Western Australia is introducing a new Master of Translation Studies course in 2014 to give postgraduate students a world-class, accredited program of study in contemporary translation studies between English and Chinese, French, German and Italian.
The course is two years full time or five years (maximum) part time. Scholarships are available to both domestic and international students.
The aim of the new course is that students will become bilingual/multilingual professionals who will receive not just technical translator training but also develop useful and versatile communication skills ensuring excellent employment outcomes.
