Generally you need to have your qualifications and skills assessed by the relevant assessing authority if you are migrating to Australia under General Skilled Migration(GSM).
You don’t need skill assessment for Australian working holiday or temporary visa however the Department of Immigration and Citizenship(DIAC) will advise you if a skills assessment is required for your particular visa.
