o Relevant Degree/Diploma

o High level of computer literacy

o Since you would be applying in an University, previous experience working in a university office environment

o Ability to transcribe from a Dictaphone and ability to take shorthand

Here is generally what you would be expected to do:

  • Provide complete administrative and secretarial support including organising meetings, travel arrangements, electronic diary management and processing incoming mail and telephone enquiries, and drafting reports.
  • Coordinate and maintain office specific activities such as e-mail and mailing address lists, assist with interview panels, maintain office stationery supplies, notice boards and community sites, and any other activities that require specific support.
  • Ensure that services delivered to customers are fit for purpose.
  • Assist the Director as required with the review, development and implementation of policy
