We are seeking a Part Time (up to 0.5 FTE) specialist laboratory Haematologist or a General Pathologist with recent experience in Haematology to contribute to routine diagnostic work, and to assist with supervision of several NATA/RCPA accredited laboratories in Sydney and surrounding regions. Commencement date is from August 2013.
Healthscope Pathology provides comprehensive pathology services to general practitioners, medical specialists and private hospitals in metropolitan Sydney and regional NSW. The main laboratory is a modern, purpose built facility situated at Bella Vista in north western Sydney.
Ideally, applicants should have previous experience as a specialist Pathologist in a busy laboratory environment. High level communication skills, including ability to interact collegially with laboratory staff and referring practitioners are required. FRCPA with demonstrated scope of practice in laboratory Haematology, and registration as a Specialist Pathologist with AHPRA are essential.
