A state of the art medical training facility has been recently launched at Liverpool Hospital.
The Ingham Institute Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre, Run by UNSW Medicine, is an education hub for young students and medical professionals in Sydney’s South-West, helping them build successful careers in medicine and medical research.
The Centre is one of the few facilities in Australia to offer high-level simulation equipment including a robotic mannequin and operating theatres that enable mock procedures. It forms part of the Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research, a charitable organisation that facilitates cutting-edge research on a range of diseases affecting the local community.
