Our client is a leader in the electrical and electronic components sector and they are currently offering the opportunity to manage their Western Sydney territory which will be a mix of significant clients including OEM’s, Universities, contractors and end users. You will be responsible for developing current relationships and growing revenue year on year with each. Set a $1M+ budget you will be part of a team of 5 including the Sales Manager who drive the business forward.

This is suited to a dynamic and ambitious external sales person who has a consistent proven history in business to business selling. Currently working in a Territory Representative style role you will understand the dynamics of an on the road based sales position and the demands of meeting sales targets through regular call cycles. You will also be fully conversant with CRM solutions and reporting all activities.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in your application you will require prior experience working in a sales representative role in the Industrial / B2B sector. In addition you will have a combination of the following attributes;
•A knowledge of the technicalities of advanced security systems, or similar technical sales in another hardware based industry.
•Current knowledge of local contacts in the building, architecture, or locksmith markets would be beneficial
•A track record of target driven sales achievement, working collaboratively with clients in an advisory and value add context.

Job Description

Reporting into the State Sales Manager, you will responsible for:
•Managing and building relationships with an existing portfolio of key customers across the retail channel
•Identifying and driving opportunities with new outlets or sporting centres
•Planning and forecasting sales based on budget revenue, gross margin, unit and core sales

Some sales experience will be highly favoured however not required.

* At least 2 years experience in a business to business sales environment (this includes using the phone to cold call, generate leads, knock on doors prior to and after appointments).

* Regularly finish your month in the top 20% of your sales team at your current role, you will be asked to demonstrate your sales technique to us during your interview.
