1. BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST – TRAVEL INDUSTRY

The Role
Working in this growing department you will be responsible for liaising with internal and external partners on implementing customer-centric solutions.
As an analyst you will be looking for ways to leverage new and existing technologies to improve the quality of system deployment, the efficiency of product delivery and the effectiveness of information analysis.
The Must Haves Experience in a similar analyst and systems role is a must along with understanding of the travel industry and systems. Calypso skills highly desirable.
2. Junior Business Systems Analyst
- 6 month contract
- Homebush location
- Circa $35ph including superannuation
Key responsibilities:
- Manage all end-to-end system processes related to the business and find out ways to optimise them. Document all the systems/processes and ensure they are up to date
- Monitor systems operations on periodical basis during the day and provide necessary feeds to optimise / improve
- Support implementation of projects ensuring that project scope, requirements, analysis and other project related tasks are carried out in a timely and regularly manner. Responsible for execution of all project related deliverables
- Creation of system related operation reports/dashboards/alerts to ensure adequate tracking for changes, strategies, initiatives and operational efficiency of the systems used
- Change Management – execution, testing and documentation of any changes to the systems ensuring that all aspects of compliance, strategy, communication and impact analysis are managed
- Liaise with the business for project related activities or support related activities
- Ability to automate manual task through use of macros, VBA or SQL
- Communicate with the business/vendors to ensure the traction/escalation of issues/changes where required
- Ensure the implementation of change request/fix is executed with utmost precision with proper communication to stakeholders
- Create change/incident management documentations and ensure to all necessary approvals before any change is implemented
- Engage with relevant stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure everyone is well informed about the progress of any changes/issues currently worked on

- Excellent communication abilities – both written and verbal as the role involves significant interaction with stakeholders and detailed documentation
- Strong team player
- Excellent skills in personal work organisation and time management
- Ability to gather business requirements, write scope documents and process flows
- Ability to step into problems analyses and implement solutions quickly
- Attention to detail with ability to execute
- Understanding of compliance & control standards
- Strong coding skills in VBA/SQL/Macros are mandatory. DOS/UNIX based scripting is preferred but not necessary
- Strong exposure to business systems including workflow management with the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues
3. Senior Business/Systems Analyst
The right candidate for the role will have a background in business analysis, design and testing activities in a formal project environment. This role will require you to work in the following areas: –
Business process modelling Functional design specifications Configuration Design and Build Security Design Quality management Mentor team members.
Experience required: –
You must have worked in complex integration projects. Previous experience in the education sector would be advantageous Web services. Ability to manage small teams. SQL MS word, Excel and Visio
