Position Description
The individual candidate will immediately be involved in all aspects of electrical design and documentation including lighting and power, project coordination, site inspections and regular client liaison. You will be working alongside top tier professionals and reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer and the Regional Director to ensure progress is maintained on all projects.

Position Description
This position is for a Senior or Lead Electrical Engineer to work alongside and report to the Director of Electrical Services. The main responsibilities for this role will incorporate the management of the Electrical team in the absence of the Directors, technical overview of all designs and documentations and ensuring the drive and motivation is provided to the team. This role will be involved in mainly the residential and health care sectors meaning a candidate with prior experiences in these fields will be able to hit the ground running.

An experienced Electrical Engineer / Designer is required for an immediate start on a 4 month contract with a major mining house.
Our client is a global resources company who operate at the forefront of the Queensland Metallurgical Coal Mining Industry.
Reporting to the Superintendent Standards and Compliance you will provide technical electrical engineering expertise across a variety of multi-disciplinary projects.
To apply for this position you should be an Electrical Engineer / Designer with an Electrical Engineering Degree or relevant Trade qualifications. You must have previous Electrical Engineering design experience in a coal mining environment and be conversant with providing electrical designs and drawings.
Your main duties will be to scope electrical work, complete load/cable size calculations, compile work packages and develop commissioning plans.
The ability to use AutoCAD Electrical, Solutions Electrical or Power Tools for Windows would be beneficial.

Due to growth, development and on-going work, our client is currently seeking highly experienced Electrical Engineers who have a strong knowledge of Hazardous Area compliance. Opportunities exist in Perth, Brisbane or Melbourne.
