Your work as an Electrician can include:
- Maintenance and testing of electrical and mechanical systems and equipment
- Identification of problems down to component level and notification to the Maintenance Supervisor
- Setting up of equipment and instruments
- Maintaining records, compiling reports and updating the asset management systems as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor
- Coordinating and assisting with the supervision of subcontractors as required
- Ensure safe work practices
- Assisting the Motorway Controller to perform control room functions as required
- An understanding of OH&S, risk management and hazard identification
