New Diamantina Individualised Oncology Care Centre (DIOCC) has opened.

It is based at The University of Queensland’s Diamantina Institute and is funded by the Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF).

The New oncology centre would focus on personalised cancer care and research into skin, blood and breast cancers.

It is considered to be one of the most sophisticated genome sequencing centre.

DIOCC, based at Brisbane’s Translational Research Institute brings together research and clinical groups from oncology, haematology and dermatology departments at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, UQ’s School of Medicine, UQ’s School of Pharmacy and the Translational Research Institute.
