ECU’s Film and Video graduate Zarah Lee Barrow has joined filmmaking legends Ang Lee, Spike Lee, George Lucas, Ridley Scott, Steven Spielberg and Oliver Stone as an award winner at the WorldFest-Houston International Independent Film Festival.

Zarah won the award for her short film Dreaming Awake which she directed as part of her course at ECU last year.

WorldFest-Houston is one of the oldest and largest film competitions in the world with entries received from 37 countries. The awards recognise and honour outstanding creative excellence in film and video.
